Chaos Rising drops on July 10, 2026 with the most aggressive chase lineup of any English-language set since Twilight Masquerade. Three full-art Special Art Rares, two Hyper Rares, and a Mew that's already trading at 4× its $45 estimated retail in pre-sale markets.
For collectors outside the US, the math is unforgiving. The Special Art Charizard ex that retails for $180 in a single ETB pull is already listed at $540 in Brazil, $310 in Japan, and $295 in the UK — before secondary-market premiums even land.
The print run vs. the demand
The print run is reportedly the largest since Crown Zenith, but Pokemon Company International is allocating ~64% of stock to North America and the rest to APAC + EMEA combined. The math means most international retailers will receive 5–8% of the volume they'd need to meet local demand at MSRP. The gap fills with scalpers, eBay, and grey-market imports — all priced at multiples.

What we recommend
- Reserve a US suite address before July 8 — the day before US street date. Sign-up is free and instant. Don't wait until drop day or you're competing with traffic spikes at the worst possible time.
- Pre-build your retailer carts. Have 3+ tabs open at 7:55am CST on July 10. Costco's case bundle and Best Buy's booster bundle historically sell out within 9 minutes.
- Don't ship one item at a time. A single forwarded box of 3 boxes + an ETB + accessories costs $14.99 to forward, the same as one booster pack. Consolidate ruthlessly.
- Skip Amazon 3rd-party sellers. They're already +12% over MSRP. Stick to Target, Walmart, GameStop, Costco, Best Buy.
What to skip
The elite trainer box bundles at gas-station retailers (CVS, Walgreens) are being repackaged at +30% with weaker pull ratios. The "premium" $99 collections from Hasbro-adjacent retailers are mostly reprints with one promo card — not chase. Trust the dedicated TCG retailers.
