Package Verification & Acceptable Use Policy
Verification protects legitimate customers, merchants, carriers, payment owners, and Selectido. A review or hold is a precaution and does not by itself mean that fraud occurred.
1. Accurate account and shipment information
You must provide truthful, current, and consistent information about your identity, residential address, phone number, package contents, value, purchaser, sender or merchant, payment authorization, and final recipient. You may not impersonate another person or conceal who purchased, sent, owns, or will receive a shipment.
2. When verification may be required
Selectido may request verification before revealing a U.S. forwarding address, after tracking is registered, before accepting or opening a package, before forwarding, or whenever account or shipment information is incomplete, inconsistent, unusual, or cannot reasonably be confirmed.
3. Information we may request
- Full legal name, working phone number, residential address, and final shipping address.
- Order confirmation, receipt, product list, merchant information, and matching tracking number.
- Name of the purchaser and evidence that the purchase or payment method was authorized.
- Information identifying the sender and intended final recipient.
- Additional documentation reasonably necessary to comply with carrier, customs, payment, sanctions, or legal requirements.
4. Verification holds
During review, Selectido may hide or withhold a U.S. address and pause package check-in, inspection, consolidation, payment, shipment selection, forwarding, or release. Customers must not send additional packages while instructed that an account or shipment is under review.
5. Package handling during review
Depending on timing and circumstances, Selectido may accept a package and hold it sealed, refuse delivery, ask the shipper or carrier whether interception is available, or return it to sender. Carrier action is not guaranteed and may involve fees. Selectido will use reasonable care while a package is physically held.
6. Prohibited uses
- Purchases made with stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulently obtained payment methods.
- Parcel-mule, reshipping, triangulation, chargeback, gift-card, or identity fraud.
- Stolen property, counterfeit goods, prohibited goods, controlled substances, weapons, or goods restricted by carriers, customs, sanctions, or law.
- Using multiple identities or accounts to evade review, suspension, shipment limits, or prior enforcement.
- False customs declarations, deliberate undervaluation, misdescription, or concealment of package contents.
7. Cooperation and records
Selectido may preserve relevant account, communication, tracking, transaction, and package-handling records. Where reasonably necessary or legally required, we may communicate with merchants, senders, carriers, payment processors, insurers, customs authorities, or law-enforcement agencies. We do not promise that any particular report or disclosure will be made.
8. Costs and unresolved property
Where permitted by law and the Selectido Terms, the customer may be responsible for carrier interception, refusal, return, storage, customs, or other reasonable costs caused by inaccurate information, prohibited use, or failure to complete verification. Selectido will provide legally required notice and follow applicable Minnesota procedures before selling, disposing of, donating, or otherwise treating goods as unclaimed.
9. Responding to a review
Reply directly to the verification email or contact Selectido through WhatsApp at +1 612-407-0689. We will review the information provided and may approve the account or shipment, request clarification, continue the hold, refuse service, or arrange a return where available.
10. Relationship to other policies
This policy forms part of the Selectido Terms of Service and works together with our Privacy, Shipping, Refund, and prohibited-items rules. If a carrier or law imposes stricter requirements, those requirements control.
