Is there a subscription or membership fee?
No. No subscription, no membership, no monthly fee, no minimum spend. You pay per package forwarded and per hour booked — that's it.
Do you mark up retail prices?
No. Items ring up at the US register price. Sales, coupons, and member prices all apply. You see the same receipt the shopper sees.
Are sales tax and customs included?
US sales tax is included in your receipt total. Customs duties and import VAT at your destination are the customer's responsibility — every country has different thresholds and rates.
Can I get a refund if I don't like an item?
Items you approved on the live call are non-returnable through Selectido — the whole point of the live video is inspecting items before you buy. The store's own return policy may still apply between you and the retailer. Full refund policy.
How does the bundle perk work?
Book any live shopping session of $75 or more in a calendar month, and one outbound package that same month ships with the $14.99 service fee waived. Carrier shipping (USPS, UPS, DHL, FedEx) still applies at cost. Max one free package per session and one free package per calendar month.
When do you charge me?
You pre-load a wallet via Stripe before each booking or shipment. The total sweeps from the wallet in one action — no card prompt during the call, no failed-payment delays, no awkward 3D Secure pauses at the register.
Can I tip my shopper?
Tipping is optional and 100% of the tip goes to your shopper — Selectido does not take a cut. Most customers tip when their shopper drove to a second store, stayed late, or hunted down a hard-to-find item.
Why isn't there a subscription?
Founder's note: subscriptions punish casual users and reward nothing. We want you to use Selectido when you actually need a US shopper or a US address, not because you're trying to extract value from a recurring fee. Pay per use, see every line item, no lock-in.
