Five carriers, one click,
typical rates on the table.
Plug in a destination, a weight, and a declared value. We'll show you what USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Aramex would charge to ship from our Twin Cities warehouse. Real published rates, not made up.
Big box, small bill. We shrink it down.
US stores ship in oversized boxes — and carriers charge for the empty space. We repack every parcel to its true size before it leaves the warehouse, and rates drop with it.

01 — the mathHow shipping cost is actually calculated.
Carriers charge based on the greater of actual weight or dimensional weight. Dimensional weight = (Length × Width × Height) ÷ dimensional divisor (139 for most US-to-international shipments). Big light packages — pillows, jackets, lampshades — ship at dimensional weight, not actual.
02 — the choiceWhy we show all 5 carriers.
Most US forwarders lock you into one carrier (or two). The carrier they chose is usually the one that makes them the most margin. We don't take shipping margin — your $14.99 service fee covers our work, and the carrier rate is pass-through.
03 — the cheat sheetPicking a carrier — rules of thumb.
- Under 4 lbs going anywhere? USPS Priority Mail International is almost always cheapest.
- Heavy package to Asia / MENA? DHL Express usually wins on speed-per-dollar.
- Time-sensitive to Brazil / India? FedEx International Priority — best customs clearance in those markets.
- Anywhere in GCC + Levant + North Africa? Aramex often beats DHL on the same lanes.
- Predictable delivery window matters most? UPS Worldwide Saver — they refund late deliveries.
04 — questionsInternational shipping calculator FAQ.
Is this an international shipping calculator?
Yes. This international shipping calculator compares what USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Aramex would charge to ship a package from the US to your country. Enter a destination, a weight, and a declared value to see typical rates side by side.
How is the shipping cost worked out?
Carriers charge for the greater of the real weight or the dimensional (size) weight. Dimensional weight = length × width × height ÷ 139. A big, light box can cost more than a small, heavy one, so we repack parcels to their true size to keep the billable weight down.
Does the price include customs duties or taxes?
No. The rates shown are for shipping only. Your country may charge import duty or tax such as VAT or GST when the package arrives. Those are set by your government, not by Selectido, and you pay them to your local customs or carrier. We declare every parcel honestly but cannot remove these charges.
Is the $14.99 fee part of the shipping price?
No. The carrier rate you see is the shipping cost. Selectido adds one flat $14.99 service fee per package for receiving, inspecting, repacking, and sending it. There is no markup on shipping and no subscription.
Are these real shipping rates?
They are typical published rates as of 2026, meant to give a close estimate. Your final rate depends on the exact box size, fuel surcharges, and the day’s pricing. You see the exact rate at booking inside the Selectido app.
