Real shopping. With someone who'll wait.

No app to install. No racing through the aisles. Just a phone call, if that's what you prefer.

Use whatever phone you already have. Landline. Flip phone. Tablet your kids gave you. No app to download.

Your shopper waits for you. For your questions. For your pace. A session is closer to a small social visit than a chore.

They drive to your door. Inside the doorway. On the kitchen table. Wherever's easiest. Free, in our service area.

Who tends to use this

Seniors who used to love grocery shopping and want to keep doing it — just not in person. Folks whose kids signed them up after one too many "I'll go for you" weeks. People recovering from a fall. Widows and widowers who don't drive at night. Anyone who finds the big-box stores too loud, too bright, too cold, or too far.

If the store used to be a small joy and now it's a chore, this gives you back the joy without the chore.

What a session actually looks like

We call you at the time you booked. You answer. The shopper says hi from the store — usually Cub, Lunds, Target, or wherever you picked. They walk you through your list: "You wanted bread — I'm in front of the bread shelf. There's the Sara Lee you like, and a new one called Dave's Killer. Want me to tell you about it?"

You answer. They put it in the cart. They wait until you're ready for the next thing. If you want to add something — "oh, while you're there, grab a small bag of those clementines" — they do.

They pay. They drive over. They bring the bags in, set them where you asked, and go.

Tell us how you like things

Anything you mention here, we save. The next shopper won't have to ask.

Call my landline — not the cell Speak slowly, please Captions on the call Bring inside and put in fridge Leave on the kitchen table Same shopper if possible Pick up my prescription too Wear a mask Knock, don't ring
I'm 84 and I don't drive anymore. Wednesday at 10am, the phone rings and it's my Selectido person from Lunds. We pick out the chicken together. We laugh about the price of eggs. By 11:30 the bags are on my counter. It's the closest thing to going to the store myself.— A customer in Edina, 84

What we don't do well yet

We're not a meal-prep service. We bring you groceries — we don't cook for you or chop vegetables. If you need that, you need a home aide.

We're not the cheapest option. Instacart is cheaper if you just want stuff dropped at your door. We're for people who want the human conversation and the patience — the actual experience of shopping.

Our delivery area is the Twin Cities metro. Minneapolis, St. Paul, and close-in suburbs. We don't deliver to greater Minnesota. Yet.

What it costs

$75 an hour. Items at store price — no markup. Free local delivery in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and close-in suburbs. No subscription. No fees. No required tip.
Book a first session
Or have your adult kids to set up your first one. We'll handle the rest.

If you're reading this and thinking it's not for you, that's fine too. We're a small Twin Cities team. We'd rather earn one good customer than chase a hundred.

A few common questions

Do I need a smartphone or an app?

No. The session works as a regular phone call to your landline. We call from the store, walk you through the aisles by description, and you tell us what to get. If you have a tablet or smartphone, you can also do video — but it's not required.

How long does a session usually take?

30–60 minutes for a weekly grocery run. Smaller trips (pharmacy plus a few items) take 20–30. You set the pace. Many of our senior customers treat the call like a small social visit.

Can I always have the same shopper?

We try. Tell us if you find someone you like, and we'll prioritize giving you the same person on your recurring slot. Most weekly customers see the same one or two people on rotation.

What if I can't hear well?

Just tell us at booking. The shopper speaks slowly, repeats anything you ask, and holds the phone close to product labels on video. We have live captioning if you want the words on screen.

Will the shopper bring bags inside?

Yes — just tell us where. Inside the door, on the kitchen counter, in the fridge. We won't go further than where you've told us.

Can my kids set this up for me?

Yes. Many of our senior customers were signed up by an adult child. They handle the booking and payment; you just answer the phone when the shopper calls.
