The first two weeks are the hardest. Let us handle the errands.
You don't have to talk. You don't have to dress. Text us your list and we'll do the rest.
Prescription pickup. Gauze. Ice packs. Stool softeners. All the post-op stuff you don't want to ask anyone about.
Soft foods. Soup. Smoothie ingredients. Yogurt. Popsicles. Applesauce. The recovery aisle, basically.
Set up a recurring weekly slot before surgery. We just show up — for 4 weeks, 6 weeks, however long you need.
Who tends to use this
People recovering from knee, hip, or shoulder surgery. Mastectomy and breast-reconstruction recovery. C-sections. Gallbladder. Hernia. Wisdom teeth. Sinus surgery. Anyone discharged with "no driving for 2 weeks" or "no lifting over 10 lbs for 6." People who live alone and don't have a spouse or roommate to do the runs. People whose spouse is also tired.
If your surgeon said "rest for two weeks" and you're already wondering how that's possible, this is for you.
How most recoveries use us
- Day-of and Week 1 Pharmacy pickup the day you come home. First grocery drop quietly on the porch — soft foods, broth, popsicles, ice, electrolytes, gauze refills.
- Week 2–3 Weekly drop on the day that works for you. Soft food fades, normal groceries return. We re-fill the prescriptions if you're on a longer course.
- Week 4–6 Most people scale back to one drop every other week as they get back behind the wheel. You can pause, skip, or end any time.
Tell us about your recovery
Anything here, we save. The shopper sees it before they head to the store.
I booked four weekly slots the day before my knee replacement. After surgery I didn't have to think about food, prescriptions, or anything. They left the bags on the porch every Tuesday at 11. By week three I was just texting "same as last week + bananas." It made the recovery feel manageable.— A customer in Minneapolis, post-TKR, 2024
What we don't do well yet
We're not home health. We can't change a dressing, give injections, sort medications, or do nursing tasks. For that, you need a home health agency.
We're not 24/7. Most sessions happen 8am–8pm. For middle-of-the-night urgent needs, we're not the right fit.
We can't lift heavy bags up multiple flights of stairs. We'll bring bags to your unit if it's accessible, but our shoppers can't carry 50 lbs up a fourth-floor walkup. If you're in a walk-up, mention it at booking and we'll talk through it.
What it costs
The recovery couch is a lonely place. We don't make a thing of it. We just show up, leave the bags, and let you rest.
A few common questions
Can someone book on my behalf?
Yes. Many post-surgery customers have a spouse, adult child, or friend book and pay for sessions during the first 2–4 weeks. You don't have to do anything.
Can you pick up my prescription?
Yes. We need either a written authorization (we'll send a template) or your verbal OK to the pharmacist on the phone. We grab the prescription, gauze, ice packs, and groceries in one trip.
I can't talk post-anesthesia. What now?
Text us your list before surgery. We'll set up a recurring weekly drop. No call required during recovery.
Can you drop without ringing?
Yes — strongly recommended for week one. We set bags by the door, text a photo, leave. You bring them in whenever you're up.
Soft-food and recovery items?
Yes. Smoothie ingredients, soup, broth, yogurt, pudding, mashed potatoes, applesauce, popsicles, electrolytes, stool softeners, ice packs, gauze, athletic tape — all routine.
Can I book 4–6 weeks of recurring sessions?
Yes. Many customers book a weekly slot the day before surgery and set it to recur for 4 or 6 weeks. We text the day before each delivery so you can add or change items. Pause or cancel any time.
