How to Cancel Your Aramex Shop & Ship Membership (Step-by-Step, 2026)
Walk through the exact steps to cancel your Shop & Ship annual membership, clear any remaining stored packages, and avoid the common gotchas that lead to surprise charges or lost shipments. Written for members in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, and the wider Middle East. Last updated 2026.
Section 1: Before you cancel — the checklist
Cancelling Shop & Ship without doing these things first is how members end up forfeiting packages, paying for a renewal they did not want, or losing access to a shipment that is still in transit between the US warehouse and your country.
✓ Pre-cancellation checklist
- Are there packages still stored at your suite? Log in and check your suite. Anything sitting there needs to be shipped out, returned to sender, or arranged for disposal before your suite closes. Aramex does not automatically forward orphan packages and the country plans' terms allow abandonment fees on items left past the closure date.
- Are there packages already in transit between the US warehouse and your country? A shipment that has left New Jersey but has not yet been delivered to your local Aramex office is the trickiest case. Most country offices will complete delivery on an in-flight shipment even after cancellation — but confirm in writing through your cancellation ticket before submitting.
- When is your renewal date? Annual membership renews on the anniversary of your original signup. If your renewal is in 3 weeks, wait until shortly before that date to cancel so you use the full year you have already paid for. If your renewal was last week, you have nearly a full year of paid access — disable auto-renewal now but defer the full closure until you have actually used the time.
- Have you backed up your shipment history? Download AWBs, customs documents, and intake records for any in-flight delivery dispute. The shipment history may not remain accessible after the account is closed.
- Do you have a US address lined up for any in-transit US retailer orders? If you ordered something to your Shop & Ship US address last week, it is still coming. Decide whether to redirect with the retailer, accept the package on your current suite, or set up a new forwarding address first.
- Are you cancelling because of a specific complaint? If so, file the complaint formally (and reference it in the cancellation reason) — both for the record and because some country offices will offer a retention discount or refund concession to resolve the underlying issue.
Section 2: Step-by-step cancellation walkthrough
Shop & Ship occasionally renames menu items between dashboard versions and the exact flow varies slightly by country — but the structure is the same. Here is what most members will see in 2026.
Log in to shopandship.com
Use the email and password tied to the membership you want to cancel. Two-factor codes go to the email or mobile number on file. Confirm the country your membership is registered in — the cancellation flow routes through that country's Aramex office.

From the main dashboard, click your name or the profile icon in the top-right corner. Choose My Account, then Membership (sometimes labeled Subscription or Plan depending on country).
Screenshot description: Account dropdown menu showing My Suite, Membership, Billing, Help, Logout. Membership page displays current plan tier (Lite or Premium), annual price, next renewal date.Turn off auto-renewal first
Toggle Auto-renewal to Off. This alone prevents the next annual charge without immediately closing your suite — useful if you want to keep using the service through the end of the year you have already paid for. A confirmation banner appears showing the date your membership will expire.

If you also want to close the account fully (rather than just stopping renewal), go to Help → Contact Us → Cancellation or Close account. If no self-serve option appears for your country, open a general ticket with the subject "Membership cancellation — member #XXXXXXX" and request closure explicitly in the body.

Pick a reason from the dropdown. This is feedback only — it does not change whether the cancellation goes through. Common options: "too expensive," "no longer shopping US," "switching providers," "customs issues," "other." Add a one-line note if there is a specific complaint behind the cancellation.

Some country offices follow up by phone, WhatsApp, or email to verify identity before processing the closure. Have your member number and the email address on file ready. This adds 1–3 business days to the closure timeline.

A confirmation email should arrive within a few hours. Keep it — that email is your proof of cancellation intent if a charge unexpectedly hits at the next renewal. If no email arrives within 48 hours, the cancellation may not have processed; follow up on the same ticket. Some country plans also reflect the cancellation status inside the Membership page within 1–2 business days.

Cancelling does not nuke everything immediately. Here is the sequence.
- Your suite address stays active through the end of the annual membership period you have already paid for, if you have only disabled auto-renewal. If you have requested full account closure, the suite typically closes within 7–14 business days (varies by country) after final verification.
- Stored packages need a decision. Ship them out via a final outbound shipment, request return-to-sender (at your cost), or arrange disposal. Anything still sitting at the suite after the closure date may incur abandonment fees per the country plan's terms.
- Refund policy. Aramex Shop & Ship's annual membership (~$45 Lite / ~$65 Premium) is generally non-refundable once the membership year has started. Some country offices grant partial refunds at their discretion — particularly if the service has been unavailable in your country or if there has been a documented service failure. Always reference your country's consumer protection rules in the refund request and keep the email trail as evidence.
- Account history. Your account record (shipment history, AWBs, billing history) may remain on file for a period after closure. If you want it permanently deleted as a data-privacy request, submit a separate written request referencing your jurisdiction's data protection law — UAE PDPL, Saudi Arabia PDPL, Egypt PDPL, or the EU GDPR if you registered from a European address. Aramex is obligated to honor verified deletion requests.
- If the cancellation didn't go through, reply on the original ticket with "Following up — cancellation request not yet processed, member #XXXXXXX." If still nothing, escalate via the steps in our Aramex Shop & Ship customer service guide.
Section 4: Where to go next
If you are cancelling because you are done shopping in the US altogether, that is the end of the story. But most members who cancel Shop & Ship still need a US shipping address — they just want a different provider, often one without an annual commitment.
A few directions worth considering, particularly if you are in the Middle East:
- Selectido — small Minneapolis-based hub, no annual membership, $14.99 per outbound package plus actual carrier shipping (no markup). Hand-checks and contents photos included on every package — you see the photos in your Orders tab before you pay for international shipping. Service fee is waived for any month in which you also book a $75+ live shopping session. Serves customers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain via DHL, FedEx, UPS, and USPS.
- Shipito — large operation, no monthly fee for the basic tier, but charges a percentage handling fee tied to declared value. Multiple US warehouses including tax-free states like Oregon and Delaware. Strong for tech and electronics shippers.
- Local couriers with US warehouse partners. SMSA (Saudi Arabia), Quiqup (UAE), Bosta (Egypt), and several others offer US forwarding via partnered warehouses. Coverage and pricing varies a lot — worth a quick search if you want a domestically-billed option.
For a side-by-side breakdown of the major options including Aramex, see our MyUS vs. Shipito vs. Stackry vs. Aramex vs. Selectido (2026) comparison. For destination-specific shipping guidance, see shipping to the UAE and shipping to Saudi Arabia.
Switching to Selectido? If you have one last package still sitting at your old Shop & Ship suite and you are setting up a new Selectido suite, email us at SelectidoShopping@gmail.com — we will waive the forwarding service fee on your first outbound shipment so the transition does not cost you anything extra.
Frequently asked questions
Most country plans allow you to disable auto-renewal directly from the Membership settings inside your shopandship.com account. Full account closure usually requires submitting a written cancellation request through the in-account ticket system. The self-serve option may be limited or absent depending on the country your membership is registered in — UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon tend to have the most complete self-serve flows; smaller-market memberships often require a ticket.
Aramex Shop & Ship's annual membership fee (approximately $45 Lite / $65 Premium, varying by country) is generally non-refundable once the year has started. Some country offices grant partial refunds at their discretion, particularly if the service has been unavailable in your destination. Always reference your country's consumer protection rules in the refund request and keep the email trail as evidence.
Cancellation does not automatically forward or return your stored packages. You need to ship them out, request return-to-sender, or arrange disposal before your suite closes. Packages left past the closure date may incur abandonment fees or be disposed of per the country plan's terms. Handle stored items before submitting the cancellation request.
Cancellation ends the paid membership. The account record (shipment history, billing history) may remain on file for a period afterwards. If you want the account fully deleted as a data-privacy request, submit a separate written request referencing your jurisdiction's data protection law — UAE PDPL, Saudi Arabia PDPL, Egypt PDPL, or the EU GDPR if you registered from a European address. Aramex is generally obligated to honor verified deletion requests.
The week before your annual renewal date — that way you use the full year you have already paid for, and you avoid being re-billed for another cycle. The renewal date is the anniversary of the date you originally signed up. Set a calendar reminder two weeks before so you do not miss it. Cancelling immediately after auto-renewal usually does not refund the just-charged amount in most country plans.
Several country plans do not surface a self-serve cancel button at all — the request has to be submitted through the in-account ticket form or by email to your country's Aramex customer service. Use the subject line "Cancellation request — member #XXXXXXX" and explicitly state you wish to cancel the membership and disable auto-renewal. Save the submission as proof of intent.
If the cancellation processes correctly, no further charges should appear after the current annual cycle ends. Check your card statement around the original renewal date the following year. If a charge appears anyway, reply to your cancellation confirmation email and request reversal. If Aramex does not respond within a reasonable window, contact your card issuer to dispute — your cancellation confirmation email is the evidence you need.
No annual membership, ever. $14.99 per outbound package + actual carrier shipping with no markup — free if you also book a $75+ live shopping session that month. Hand-checked and photographed at intake, with photos visible in your Orders tab before you pay for shipping.
