What Aramex Shop & Ship is
Aramex Shop & Ship is a mail-forwarding service. Sign up, get a US (and UK/India/etc.) warehouse address, order from any US online retailer, and Aramex forwards to your home country. Especially popular in GCC, Levant, and South Asia thanks to its integrated local last-mile delivery.
Strengths: per-kg shipping pricing, established brand, integrated with Aramex's regional courier network, works for hundreds of US retailers.
What Selectido is
Selectido offers two complementary services:
- Live-video personal shopping — a specialist drives to a US store, joins a video call with you, walks the aisles together, and physically buys items at the register. $75/hr, no subscription.
- US package forwarding — get a personal Suite ID at our Minneapolis hub, order from any US store online, we receive, hand-check, photograph, and forward internationally. $14.99 per package, or free if you book a $75+ live shopping session that month.
Book a $75 live shopping session for items you want to inspect in person (Costco, Trader Joe's, Apple, Sephora). Forwarding for that entire month is then free. So if you shop the US multiple times per year, a single session covers unlimited forwarding that month — math Aramex can't match because Aramex doesn't shop.

When they're complementary, not competitive
Honestly: they serve different use cases. Many UAE, KSA, and Jordan customers use both.
Aramex Use it for:
- Ordering from Amazon US (when Amazon won't ship direct to your country)
- Small US online retailers (specialty supplements, hobby gear)
- Bulk online orders where you know exactly what you want
- When integrated GCC/Levant last-mile delivery matters most
Selectido Use it for:
- Shopping at Costco, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Walmart Supercenter, Apple Store retail
- Sephora US prestige beauty (Drunk Elephant, Tatcha, Charlotte Tilbury)
- Outlet malls — anywhere you want to inspect items on video before paying
- Anywhere store-side membership or loyalty matters
- When you want forwarding to be free via the bundle
The pricing reality
For pure forwarding of small, known items: Aramex's per-kg model is predictable and often cheaper. Selectido's $14.99 flat fee is better for larger items.
For shopping + forwarding combined: Selectido wins by design. You get to inspect items on video before purchase, and the $75 session makes all forwarding free that month. Aramex literally cannot offer this.
For categories Aramex can't reach: Selectido is the only option — Costco, Trader Joe's, in-store Apple, Sephora prestige beauty, outlet malls.
