Why this brand is shipped worldwide

Magic: The Gathering has the most globalized TCG fanbase but the most fragmented international shipping. Secret Lair drops — the direct-to-consumer limited-edition card releases from Wizards of the Coast — only ship to a handful of countries. The full English-language US print catalog (latest set boosters, Collector Boosters, Commander preconstructed decks, accessories like Spindown dice, Convention promos) is broadly available in the US but often delayed or skipped internationally.

Plus singles: TCGplayer, ChannelFireball, Star City Games, Card Kingdom are the four major US singles retailers. None ship globally with reasonable rates. Selectido routes all four to our Minneapolis suite for international reshipment.

Why people forward this from the US

European MTG distribution covers most of the EU well but UK-only post-Brexit shipping has gotten expensive. Latin America is patchy — Brazil has decent local distribution but Mexico, Colombia, Argentina shoppers consistently use US forwarding. Middle East (UAE, Saudi, Israel) has almost no local MTG distribution. Asia Pacific outside Japan / China / Korea is similar — Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam shoppers mostly forward from the US.

Secret Lair specifically: drops happen every few weeks, sell out fast, and ship only to ~15 countries direct. For everyone else, US forwarding is the only path.

How we ship it

  1. Tell us the list. Specific variants, sizes, quantities and destination. Or just a budget — we'll build the box.
  2. Live shopper or forwarding. Live video shopping at $75/hr (great for hunting limited drops). Forwarding at $14.99/package.
  3. Inspect, photo, pack. Every item photographed, expiry / authenticity checked, climate-aware packing.
  4. Ships in 3–10 days. USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL — your tradeoff between speed and price.
Pro tip: Set up your forwarding suite BEFORE the next Secret Lair drop. The moment it goes live, you order direct — no scrambling, no missed sellouts.

The questions everyone asks

Does Wizards of the Coast ship MTG internationally?
Only to a limited set of countries. For Secret Lair drops, the list is even shorter (~15 countries). Most of Latin America, the Middle East, much of Asia, and Africa are excluded — Selectido covers those gaps.
Can you ship Secret Lair drops?
Yes — this is our #1 MTG use case. We pre-position by getting your forwarding suite set up before the drop, then order the moment it goes live.
How fast can a Secret Lair drop be on its way?
Wizards typically takes 4-8 weeks to fulfill Secret Lair orders to the US suite. Once it arrives, we reship within 24 hours.
Are US MTG cards English-language only?
Yes — US prints are English. If you need a Japanese, Korean, or other non-English print, we can source from international distributors via Amazon US.
Can you ship sealed Collector Boosters?
Yes — Collector Boosters and full Collector Booster Boxes ship well. Heavy items so per-box shipping runs higher; bundle 2-3 boxes for best economics.
Can you ship Commander Masters / Universes Beyond products?
Yes — every WotC SKU available via TCGplayer, Star City, or direct from Wizards ships through Selectido.
Will my booster packs / boxes get tampered with?
Sealed product stays sealed — we never open boxes. We photograph each item received before reshipping. Authenticity is verifiable.
Can you grade my singles before shipping?
We don't grade ourselves, but we can ship to PSA, BGS, or CGC for grading and then reship to you internationally. Or you can pre-grade and ship pre-graded cards.
Are MTG cards subject to customs duties internationally?
Trading cards often qualify for low or zero duty as 'printed paper goods.' We declare value accurately and most personal-use shipments pass through without issue.
Can I get convention or prerelease promo cards?
Yes — live shopper at PAX, Gen Con, or local prereleases can grab convention exclusives. Book in advance for specific events.
