Who actually blocked you
Three different parties can stop the same order. The message is identical.
- The sellerA large share of Amazon's catalogue is third-party marketplace listings, and each seller picks which regions to serve. Most simply don't bother with international. This is the common case, and it's why the same product from a different seller sometimes ships fine.
- The brandTerritory licensing. The brand's distributor in your country paid for exclusivity, so the US listing can't be exported into it.
- RegulationBatteries, aerosols, supplements, some electronics. Restricted for air transport, on import, or both. See below — this is the one that actually catches people.
You'll find sites claiming Amazon blocks a specific percentage of listings from international shipping. Nobody outside Amazon can measure that. If a page quotes you a figure, it was invented.
Won't help
- A VPN. The restriction is on the listing and the destination address, not your browsing location.
- Amazon Global Store, when your item isn't in it — which is why you're here. Still worth checking first.
- Trying a different card. This isn't a payment block.

About our address
We use one registered commercial facility and you get your own suite number at it. We don't rotate addresses, and we don't use residential drop addresses to make a forwarding warehouse look like a home.
Amazon may well recognise it for what it is. That's fine — it's what it is.
Before you buy anything with a battery
This is the single most common way an Amazon order gets stuck at our warehouse, and almost nobody warns you.
- A battery inside the device — a laptop, a camera, a cordless drill — is classified UN3481 and usually travels fine with the right documentation and packing.
- A loose battery or a power bank on its own is UN3480. It is prohibited on passenger aircraft entirely, and most international parcels fly in the hold of passenger flights. It also carries a state-of-charge limit and needs cargo-aircraft handling.
- The old version of this page said lithium batteries ship "via DHL Express with proper IATA paperwork (small extra fee)." That is true of some batteries and flatly untrue of others.
Ask us before you order the power bank. Not after it's sitting in Minneapolis.
Consolidation, honestly
Combining several Amazon orders into one outbound box usually saves money, because carriers charge a base rate per shipment and one heavier box beats three light ones.
But there's a catch nobody mentions: consolidating raises the declared value of the parcel. Three $60 parcels might each sit under your country's duty-free threshold. One $180 box does not. Depending on where you are, splitting can be legitimately cheaper — and we'll tell you which way it falls.
What we won't do is take a single order and break it into small parcels to keep each one under the threshold. That's structuring, and the penalty lands on you as the importer.
