It's a real category. The most common items we're sent to retrieve after someone has come home from a US vacation:

How "I regret not buying it" sessions work
- Tell us what you regret. "There was a candy aisle at the Vegas CVS, I want every flavor of M&M, plus the giant Hershey's bar with almonds, plus the Reese's Big Cup." Specifics help.
- We pick the right store. If it was a hotel breakfast cereal, we go to a Marriott or a Target equivalent. If it was a TJ's haul, we go to Trader Joe's in Minneapolis (same selection as nationwide).
- Live FaceTime so you confirm. Especially useful for color-specific items (Stanley Quencher colors), size-specific items (clothing), or "is this the right one?" moments.
- We ship via DHL/FedEx Express. Most destinations: 3–7 days. Vacation regret cured.
The Stanley Quencher problem (and similar)
Stanley sells out specific colors faster than any other US drinkware brand. The Holiday 2025 color drop sold out in 47 minutes. If you were on vacation when one of these drops happened and missed it, we monitor the inventory on your behalf:

Outlet mall and Costco retrieval
Two categories where tourists chronically run out of bag space:
- Outlet mall purchases. Coach, Michael Kors, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, Adidas — outlet pricing is 50–70% off retail. If you regretted not maxing out at an outlet (Albertville, Eagan, Mall of America area outlets near Minneapolis), we'll go back. Live FaceTime so you can see the same sale prices.

How fast is "vacation regret" turnaround?
For most items: 1–3 days from booking to outbound ship. For limited-stock items (Stanley colors, Yeti drops, Trader Joe's seasonal): we add real-time monitoring and grab the moment they restock. Express shipping via DHL/FedEx: 3–7 days to most destinations. Total turnaround from booking to your door: typically 5–10 days for in-stock items, longer for monitored restocks.

Can you go back to a specific US outlet mall I visited?
If it's near Minneapolis (Albertville Premium Outlets, Mall of America), yes. For outlets further away, we coordinate with local partners. Outlet pricing is usually 50-70% off retail — even with our shopping fee + shipping, you typically come out ahead vs. buying retail in your country.
What about Costco-only items I missed?
We have a Costco membership and shop there regularly. Kirkland items, Costco-exclusive bulk snacks, Costco pharmacy buys, bulk Tide pods — all available. We FaceTime through the warehouse so you can pick alongside us.
Can you get Disney or Universal park merch I forgot?
If the merch is at Walt Disney World / Disneyland / Universal Studios, we can ship a shopper there for park-specific in-person shopping (travel cost added). For online-only Disney Store / Universal Store items, we forward at standard rates. Magnets, plushies, mugs — common requests.
How fast can you ship the item I regret not buying?
For in-stock items: 1-3 days from booking to ship, plus 3-7 days international transit via DHL/FedEx Express. For limited-stock items being monitored for restock: dependent on the restock timing (we'll keep you updated).
Will Selectido buy items in cash at small US shops I visited?
Yes — small US shops, farmer's markets, museum gift shops, hotel sundry stores. We accept any payment method that works for the shop and bill you with the receipt. Common for souvenir items you didn't grab and now wish you had.
