Your forwarder's address is blacklisted. Ours rotates.
Most package forwarders (MyUS, Shipito, Stackry, Planet Express) use the same ZIP codes — 98101 in Seattle, 90201 in Bell Gardens CA, 33126 in Miami, 30303 in Atlanta. Big retailers have those ZIPs on permanent blacklists. The moment you enter them at checkout, the order is flagged for review. The order gets cancelled 24–72 hours later with a generic "verification failed" email.
This is the #1 frustration with traditional forwarder services. Selectido uses a different model: rotating real Minneapolis addresses across multiple commercial and residential buildings. None of them are on retailer blacklists because we don't operate at the scale that gets you blacklisted.
Which retailers are most aggressive about blacklisting?
- Apple Store. Maintains an extensive forwarder ZIP blacklist + flags any first-time address.
- Sephora. Auto-cancels orders to known forwarder ZIPs.
- Best Buy. Blocks most international cards regardless of address.
- Nike / SNKRS. Limited drops auto-cancel forwarder ZIPs.
- Lululemon, Allbirds, Glossier. DTC brands with strict export control.
- Supreme. Online drops require a "fresh" account + non-flagged address.
- Pottery Barn / West Elm / RH. High-value home goods get extra scrutiny.
How Selectido rotates addresses
- We operate from multiple Minneapolis-area suites. Marshall Street NE, Twin Cities downtown, southern suburbs — all real addresses, all owned/leased by Selectido.
- New customers get a fresh address. Not one that's been used for thousands of orders.
- For sensitive retailers, we can assign a less-used address. Just tell us which retailer; we route appropriately.
- For limited drops, we go in person. For Supreme, SNKRS, RH outlet drops, etc., we shop in-store on FaceTime. No address needed — we walk it out and ship.
Smart routing in action
When you place an order through Selectido (forwarding or live shopping), our system automatically:
- Identifies the retailer from your product URL.
- Cross-references our blacklist database — we maintain a list of retailers that have flagged certain ZIPs.
- Assigns an address that hasn't been used at that retailer recently.
- Pre-fills checkout with a clean billing/shipping match.
The result: 95%+ first-try success rate at retailers that routinely auto-cancel orders to traditional forwarders.
What if a retailer cancels anyway?
If a retailer cancels your Selectido order despite our routing (rare — but it happens with extreme cases like Apple iPhone on launch day), we'll:
- Refund you in full (we eat any restocking fees, not you).
- Suggest the live shopping route — a real Selectido shopper walks into the physical store, buys cash/card, and ships within 24 hours. 100% success rate this way.
- Apply a $10 credit to your next Selectido order as an apology.
The pricing — same as anywhere else, just with a working address
$14.99 per outbound package. Actual carrier rates passed through (we don't mark up shipping). $75/hr for live shopping with 15% off 2+ hour bookings. No subscription, no minimum volume, no annual fee. The only thing different from cheap forwarders is that our address actually works — which on most US retailers is worth far more than $15.
