Best Buy won't ship to your country. That's by design.
Best Buy's international shipping policy is one of the strictest in US retail. Even for products that aren't regulated, branded, or carrier-restricted, Best Buy blocks shipping to almost every country outside North America. The Best Buy website checks your IP, your shipping ZIP, and your card BIN — and if any of them suggest you're not in the US or Canada, the checkout fails.
For high-value electronics — the OLED TVs, the gaming PCs, the Sony cameras, the Bose headphones — Best Buy is often the cheapest US retailer thanks to its constant price-matching. So international shoppers really, really want to buy from Best Buy. Here's how.
Three routes to a Best Buy order
- Route 1: Forwarding. Sign up for a free Selectido US address. Use it as your Best Buy shipping address. If your card also gets rejected, switch to Route 2.
- Route 2: Live shopping. Book a Selectido shopper. We log into Best Buy with our US account, use our US card, ship to our Minneapolis suite. You pay us via Stripe in your currency.
- Route 3: In-store pickup + same-day forward. For limited-stock items (RTX 50-series, PS5 Pro, Switch 2), we drive to the physical Best Buy store, do in-store pickup, and ship within 24 hours. Live video so you watch the inventory check.

The warranty question
Best Buy's standard warranty is US-only — they won't service the product overseas. But manufacturer warranties on items like Apple, Sony, Bose, Microsoft, and most consumer electronics brands are international. You can take a Sony WH-1000XM5 bought at Best Buy US to a Sony service center in any country and get warranty repair as long as you have the original receipt (which we forward to you). Sony, Bose, Apple, Microsoft, Samsung, LG, Dell, HP, and Lenovo all honor international warranty for consumer electronics. We include the original Best Buy receipt with every shipment.
Voltage and plug adapters
Most electronics from Best Buy use universal switching power supplies (100–240V), so they work anywhere in the world with a plug adapter ($5 on Amazon). The exceptions: large appliances (microwaves, vacuums, blenders), some shavers, and a small number of gaming peripherals. We flag voltage issues before shipping.
What does it cost?
A typical $400 PS5 Pro to Mexico via Selectido: $400 product + $14.99 forwarding + $35 UPS shipping = $450 total. The same PS5 in Mexico retail (when available): $580+ due to import duty and retailer markup. The same calculation usually favors Best Buy + Selectido even after customs duty in most destinations.
